Q&A – Leadership

Sorry this entry isn’t available in the selected language

I answer Siti Alisiah Ramli’s comments on my website. Below is her question:

What is the difference with your leadership and that of your late father, Tun Abdul Razak’s, leadership?

Siti Alisiah, thank you for the question.

Actually, I consider my father, the late Tun Razak, as my mentor and someone who has given me a lot of inspiration.

I consider my struggle as a continuation of my late father’s struggle. There is no difference in the principles, objectives and spirit of the struggle. It is but a continuation. The only difference is in the context of time because his leadership was in the 60’s and 70’s, but we have entered the 21st century.

I feel that what I am doing is in accordance with the times and what my late father did was in accordance with his time, but, the goals, principles and spirit remains the same.
