Encouraging women to generate secondary incomes by easing microcredit loan requirements for women entrepreneurs who conduct businesses part-time.
Creating a Women’s Cooperative that offers savings facilities and financial loans as a way to strengthen the financial status of Malaysian women.
Enhancing vocational/TVET training for women and singlemothers through partnership linkages with universities, polytechnics and MARA Skills Institutes (IKM).
Boosting the income of B40 single-mothers through training provided under the PERMATA Child Care Course.
Tapping the potential of single-mothers through upskilling programmes, retraining schemes and special work opportunities.
Guaranteeing that women comprise a minimum 30% of the Dewan Negara with an amendment to the Federal Constitution.
Expanding women’s participation and opportunities in decision-making roles by ensuring that at least 30% of decision-makers in all sectors are comprised of women.
Enacting the Sexual Harassment Act to protect victims from sexual harassment.
Establishing a Special Court Council on Marriage, Custody (‘Hadhanah’) and Maintenance (‘Nafkah’), beginning in the Wilayah Persekutuan Syariah Court, to hasten the hearing and resolution of cases.
Extending the duration of tax incentives to 24 months for women who return to the job market.
Encouraging companies to implement policies promoting Work-Life Balance by providing incentives to companies that practise such policies.
Boosting the number of 1Malaysia Youth Transit Homes to assist youths who are new to the working world.
Establishing dedicated service counters for women and welfare aid recipients at all Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) and Rural Transformation Centres (RTC).
